Their brunch is amazing and hits the spot. Their french toast is always a great idea, or their avocado toast actually deserves the hype. A cozy, dog-friendly vibe with a casual, welcoming energy can turn a brunch spot into a favorite ritual.

Hands down the best. Double, smashed, all grilled same way. With house made ketchup (I always ask for extra) and sweet potato fries, which pair both visually and taste-wise. One of Charlie Marshall’s stars.

It is always fresh and you can tell made with love

Their burgers are just so good, so simple! They really just melt in your mouth.

This place is just a burger joint, and they know how to donut right and you can see them do it right in front of you. The bun is a Martin’s Potato Roll which properly handles the juices as opposed to the ridiculous brioche buns some places use. They do one thing and do it right and don’t try to be more.

Lovely’s double cheeseburger is the best burger in the hood and entire city

Dizzy’s offers great live jazz in a convenient location. It’s easy to get to by bus, taxi or subway, and it’s always a treat for the ears.

Fushimi is beautifully decorated, with excellent food presentation and flavorful dishes. The service is always prompt and courteous. It’s one of my favorite spots to grab dinner between shows.
