The gnocchi is absurdly delicious, and the lasagna is legitimately some of the best I’ve ever had. Plus, the staff is authentically Sicilian… If you ask them if they have chicken parm they’re gonna give you a dirty look.

Magick Balay, the demonstrator and owner of Don’t Blink Magic Shop, has such incredible energy! He is so keen to show anybody who walks through the door amazing close-up magic.

Yum! I loved this place when it was Taboon and was so sad when it burned down. I was overjoyed when it reopened as Frena. The food, cocktails, and the owners — who were so gracious when I accidentally crashed their soft opening — are awesome.

Poseidon Greek Bakery has been doing the job of providing Hell's Kitchen with sweetness for the past 100 years. My favorite is the koulourakia, a delicious brittle and crispy cookie sprinkled with sesame seeds. I love indulging with a cup of strong espresso.

The best place to people-watch is in this 24-hour plaza, where you never know which friends you’ll run into or what kinds of conversations you might overhear from New Yorkers and tourists of all stripes. On a crisp fall day, there’s no better place to grab coffee and catch up al fresco.

The staff is amazing to our furry babies. The ambiance is lovely and the food is nice and affordable!!!

I’m so grateful to have a wonderful, knowledgeable, caring vet, Dr Liff, so close to home. My fur baby Starr gets so much love from everyone there when we go.

How lucky am I to have a fresh fish market a few blocks from my apartment? These markets have become almost extinct. I love walking in and they know exactly what I want and are so welcoming. There are some very good people working behind that counter.

As a rescue dog mom, any dog run is my happy place but I particularly like the one at DWC. I bring my dog Bailey here and in his younger years he could run for hours. Now 14, he just enjoys the canine company. It’s one of those places where you always end up chatting with neighbors and dog people are the best people. In a neighborhood like ours, I value having a space like this to just be outside and unplug.
