The guys in there are so knowledgeable about fixing anything that your super ‘will get to next week.’ And they never ran out of toilet paper during the pandemic.

5 Napkin Burger
As someone with a limited diet, 5 Napkin Burger is an amazing place to go with friends. The food is A1 and ranges from healthy to decadent. The atmosphere is always wonderful, and I love bringing people and seeing them light up at how amazing the food is. I also order delivery from them all the time (probably too much)!

Chez Josephine
I love Josephine’s, it's a nice treat. I have a neighbor who plays piano there at lunchtime, and I will go watch her and chat with her on her break.

VERS
Hell’s Kitchen has some of Manhattan’s most popular Gay/Queer Bars, and VERS is one of my favorites. It’s owned by queer people and has a great staff that I like supporting (it’s SO IMPORTANT to know where your money is going…) AND it’s always a good time. There’s a drag show most nights, piano bar, TV viewings, DJ sets and one of HK’s best food and drink Happy Hours.

Finn's Bagels
Delicious spot for a weekend bagel and coffee before a walk along the High Line.

Tasty Hand Pulled Noodles II
This spot is a Chinese staple. They hand pull their own noodles and have tons of options for everyone. My family and I have been going there for years, and their noodle soups are peak comfort food.

Noodies Thai Kitchen
Dining out with little children can be quite stressful for parents, especially when you have picky eaters. I love Noodies because of the relaxed family vibe, friendly staff and kid-friendly menu. My older daughter loves their Tom Yum noodle soup and they always make a mild version for her. Everything tastes homemade and very reasonably priced.

Westway Diner
I go to Westway Diner almost daily. I love the staff, they feel like family to me. I am nurtured and taken care of there and I LOVE IT.

Dunkin' on 10th
Again, I wouldn't consider heading off to my theater without an iced coffee in hand. I walk through that door and I feel like Norm on 'Cheers.' They all know me there and know exactly what I want. It's kind of nice to get that kind of service with a smile every day.

Great neighborhood spot — try the cannelle, warmed up.
