I love the open, airy feel of Open Jar. The rooms vary in size, and some have windows that overlook Times Square. The pianos are in good condition, and the thick walls help keep distractions to a minimum.

If I had to pick just one place for brunch in Manhattan, it would hands down be The Barking Dog in Hell’s Kitchen. This place is more than a restaurant—it’s a vibe, especially if you’re a dog lover like me. There’s something special about sipping coffee (or a mimosa) while watching happy pups lounging on the heated patio. It’s casual, warm, and unpretentious—the kind of spot that feels like a local favorite even in the middle of the city.

This was the first bar I ever walked into in New York — and it was also where I had my very first weekly show. So of course, it’s always going to hold a special place in my heart. On top of that, I genuinely love the music, the energy and the people. It’s always a fun time, and every night feels like a celebration.

The $15 bottomless brunch is insane. Also, the staff is really funny and kind and interesting to talk to. And there are always great conversations to be had at the bar with whomever happens to sit down next to you!

Their brunch is amazing and hits the spot. Their french toast is always a great idea, or their avocado toast actually deserves the hype. A cozy, dog-friendly vibe with a casual, welcoming energy can turn a brunch spot into a favorite ritual.

It’s nice and open, great for happy hour drinks with a nice staff. In the summer the windows are all open and you feel like you’re outside.

I love the Indian food here and the staff is always so warm and welcoming.
