Alvin Ailey Dance Center
It’s been a while since I’ve taken ballet class there, but I love the studio spaces, teachers and energy there.

Mémé Mediterranean
Mémé’s menu of mediterranean delights always satisfies my craving for something light, fresh, and bright for dinner. I like to share their combination platter in a group or enjoy it as a main dish all to myself. The lemon branzino is one of my favorites as a main entree and the ambience feels intimate and cute for date nights or having lunch with friends.

Pier 84 Hudson River Park
Love the moment of green and people-watching. We walk the pier with our son and dog on most nice evenings. There is always something fun happening: a run, music, a photo shoot, people sunbathing, having a good time.

PingPod
My home away from home. You can find me here playing 4-5 times a week. PingPod has the best conditions for table tennis — lots of space, high ceilings, great lighting, top-level tables, lots of balls — and some of the best coaches in the Western Hemisphere.

Veritas Studio Wines
The wine selection at Veritas is fantastic, and the staff always make excellent recommendations based on your tastes and even just what you’re making for dinner or what mood you’re in. Plus they are generous with their dog treats, so my pup also loves it.

Cha Pa's Noodles
This is my go-to lunch spot! Their Hell's Kitchen pho and summer rolls are so delicious. I find myself there once a week.

Rudy's
There was a time in the early 2010s when I went to Rudy’s almost every Thursday night for Drinking Liberally (which is a national social organization started by a friend in Rudy’s backyard that gathers to socialize and talk politics). I don’t go as often now, but it still feels like home when I walk in and order a pitcher of Rudy’s Red to share with friends.

Tasty Hand Pulled Noodles II
I am loving all of the new Chinese food restaurants in HK, but my favorite is Tasty Hand Pulled Noodles. If you’re feeling under the weather, or even if you’re feeling great, their wonton noodle soup is sooo good, and their pan fried noodles are also excellent. Highly recommend it.

So & So's Neighborhood Piano Bar
I can't not add our own venue to the list! So & So's really is special, from the entertainment programming to the food and drinks to the interior design, it feels special every time you walk in. Even for me!

Sullivan Street Bakery
I'm obsessed with their creme bomboloni, breads and coffee selections — it's a great spot to sit down and get some work done.
