This country-inspired bar and restaurant brings Nashville spirit to NYC with live music, Southern comfort food, and an atmosphere that celebrates the best of American roots culture. The venue showcases both country and Americana artists while serving elevated versions of Southern classics that pair perfectly with craft cocktails and local beers. Whether you're line dancing or simply soaking in the music, every evening captures the warmth and authenticity that defines great honky-tonk culture.

Live music is an increasingly rare thing across Manhattan. They’ve been very supportive of me and the other bands, building a unique musical identity in the neighborhood. I’m greatly appreciative it’s in our neighborhood. I was going there long before I started playing music there. Always a kind staff, great food and of course, great music! Never a cover.

After my favorite bar, The Rodeo Bar, closed, I was hard pressed to find a place where I could get a bucket of cold Lone Star beers in this city. Then along came The Waylon. It’s got my Lone Stars, along with a bartender who knew to give me the bottle caps without my having to ask! (They have fun word puzzles on them.) Add a cute backyard, some delicious deviled eggs, a jukebox full of great old country and make it around the corner from my apartment — score!!
