Hagi has an amazing lunch menu and the staff are warm and welcoming. It has a marvelous feel to it, a real "taste of Toyko" (where I have spent some time). The menu is impressively varied and the food — even the little side salads — are very fresh. They have an actual jukebox which can occasionally annoy with anime movie theme songs, but there's a wonderful general hubbub that reminds me of the midday bustle of a working people's eatery in Tokyo.
