The best Greek pastry shop! It’s been around since 1923 with Lili Fable (3rd generation) and her son Paul (4th generation) at the helm. A tempting assortment of handmade delicious pleasures to treat yourself and friends with. Plus they have a frozen section.

My parents always told stories about how wonderful the Fable family was, and you can tell by the care and love they put into Poseidon Bakery.

When I want a great spanakopita, this is my destination. And they make trays of little spinach pies — perfect for cocktail parties.

I love that it has been there for a few generations, very old school New York. It’s a very authentic shop, everything is delicious and made with love and the owner who works behind the counter is super friendly.

Another Hell’s Kitchen staple — and the spanakopita is the absolute best and is made with love. I’ve known Lily and her family for over 35 years and the bakery still feels like home. Everything is freshly made daily and the environment is as sweet as the pastries!

A family owned business that’s outlived so many local spots, the spanakopita is famous! Truly kind people (and I taught two of their kids music in preschool, though they’re now adults!).

This place is epic. I’ve been going here since I moved to NYC. Great pastries, Greek specialties, wonderful people. And don’t forget to get yourself a cup of coffee, too — it’s really good!

This place has been around forever. When I’ve had a bad day, I treat myself to an apricot pastry. All of their filo dough options (Spanakopita, etc) are outstanding.

Lili and Paul are Hell’s Kitchen institutions and make some of the best Greek pastry not just in the city but in the country.

It's so special to walk in and see my old friend Paulie whose family has been making the best Greek pastries, cookies, and savory pies since the 20s. I love the history and I love the spanakopita!

The Poseidon Bakery is a neighborhood institution. Generations of Hell’s Kitchen residents have grown up eating the Greek specialties (savory spanakopita, heavenly baklava!) that come from Paul and Lili Fable’s kitchen. Our neighborhood has been through a lot, but I find comfort knowing that Poseidon will continue to fill our bellies.
