Antonio, the owner, will tell you that I’m one of his first customers. We developed a family with Antonio and other regulars and this is our home base on most Friday nights. La Vela’s food is incredible. One of my favorite dishes is the lasagna, however you won’t be disappointed if you order one of the pizzas made in their wood burning stove. And definitely, order the zeppoles!

La Vela's pizzas are so fresh and take minutes coming out of their beautiful brick oven. Watching the chef make it right in front of you with a fabulous glass of wine (pre-covid) is entertainment in itself.
