Convenient location. Great help. They have helped me fix my bike in emergency situations and very likely saved me from serious injury several years ago when they found dangerous cracks had formed in the front fork of my bike (which I hadn’t noticed) when I took it in for some routine maintenance. They put a new fork on the bike at a very reasonable price. Phew!

There are many excellent bike stores in the city, but being a person who almost exclusively travels throughout the city by bicycle, I have depended on Trek on 10th, as well as their partner on 96th Street, to get me around New York. I’ve bought bikes there, had emergency repairs done quickly and expertly, bought lights and other paraphernalia to keep me safe. It’s almost a haunt of mine.

I’ve been going to this bike shop since it was Danny’s Bicycles. I was worried when it got bought by Trek, but it’s remained an excellent shop with a friendly staff. I’ve bought three bikes there and they’ve taken good care of me. Now if we can just get a bike lane on 10th Avenue so it’s easier to drop off my bike for tune ups!
