Ardesia Wine Bar

Everyone loves Ardesia. Great atmosphere, outdoor seating in the summer, excellent wine, cocktails, and snacks — and just about the nicest staff ever. It’s the best. The owner, Mandy, is absolutely wonderful and makes you feel so welcome. Fun fact: My short play in the OUT/PLAY festival, Date Debate, is set at Ardesia!

Mandy and the team at Ardesia are just fabulous! I feel like I learn something new about wine every time I go in and I love the vibe they have created in that restaurant. It's inviting and cozy but has a great buzz to it at the same time.

I know I sell wine, but when I want a glass I go there and chat with Mandy Oser.

A more recent find for me. Romantic and cool. Anything west of 10th always feels like it has an extra dose of tucked-away intimacy.  

Owned by the same people of Dot’s Cafe, this wine bar has the best selection of wines in the city on top of a fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff.

They’re well educated and highly professional, but not snooty. They know their wines and the food is phenomenal.

I went to Ardesia for the first time a few weeks after they opened, and it’s been my favorite spot ever since. Mandy and her staff are the warmest, friendliest bunch in town, and the wine and food never disappoint. I’m a particular fan of the warm chocolate chip cookies.

Ardesia has great wine and bites. It’s a mainstay for myself and my staff and a great hang after seeing a show at MCC Theater (I know! I’m shameless!!!). Order the hot pretzels and deviled eggs. You’ll thank me! Mandy and Jordan who run the restaurant are stars.

I love the wine selection and the small plates are delicious and simple. It’s more like an updated tapas bar.

We love that we can bring our dog and sit outside out of the way of people passing by. One of the best outdoor seating set-ups in Midtown in our opinion, since it is set back and more secluded.

This is the perfect place for meeting a friend or two. The wine selections, food menu, ambiance and staff collectively score a 10 out of 10. And did I mention they have a full bar too?! This is one of my happy places not only because it is conveniently located to my home, but it has a great vibe to it. It’s warm and welcoming. They also offer outdoor seating during the warmer months. I highly recommend this place.
