Cute plaza often filled with Broadway folk relaxing or eating between shows when the weather is nice. I love to sit in the plaza on a beautiful day with Stritch and enjoy people watching and a coffee.

The plaza itself is a unique and very European kind of place, which you don’t see much and certainly not in Manhattan. It’s great to go there with the dog and hang out with a coffee and see who we run into.

I just like sitting in the World Wide Plaza. There are chairs available 24/7 and it’s a nice place to sit and read that isn’t overcrowded.

A vast plaza with a great fountain, its four statues representing the seasons. A peaceful place to take a break in between errands. An enclosed space protected from traffic.

We don’t have a lot of greenspaces in Hell’s Kitchen. The largest green spaces are Dewitt Clinton Park and that slab of concrete at Hudson River Park south of the Intrepid. Worldwide Plaza gets plenty of sunlight and when I experience my winter blues that’s usually where I will walk to for some well needed vitamin D.

There aren’t that many urban pocket parks with that much space and light. It’s a nice place to duck into and have a coffee or eat your lunch in peace.

It’s so lovely to sit and people watch with my pup, maybe enjoy lunch, maybe do some work. The cherry trees around the plaza are gorgeous in the spring!

The memories of this place will last a lifetime. This was the place to go after auditions in the spring, summer, and fall years ago. You could just grab a table and see ALL of your friends. Some of my favorite HK memories are post-audition moments at World Wide Plaza and margaritas at Blockheads.
