I’ve been coming here with my family ever since I can remember and we’ve developed a lovely friendship with the owner, Wali. He’s the best and truly makes incredible food. Get the firnee for dessert!

I’ve been going to Ariana Afghan for about 25 years. The owner, Wali, is super friendly and the food is fantastic! Order anything and I guarantee it’ll be great. I particularly love the pumpkin curry and the leek bolanee gandana (kind of like a fried dumpling), and the firnee is a must for dessert— it’s a special Afghan pudding with pistachios and almonds. Tell him Ezra sent you!

This place has a cozy, casual vibe. Unique dishes. Owners are wonderful.

Afghan food is incredible, and it’s a shame more people haven’t tried it. It’s got elements of Turkish and Indian, but it is it’s own unique thing and I highly recommend you give it a shot. Ariana’s been here forever and serves a great plate of Kabuli Pulao.

We love bringing our friends here to share a giant feast, or as de facto catering when having friends over. We cannot get enough of the Kadoo Bolanee and Manto.
