Right across the street from Ardesia is Dot’s, my favorite local coffee and brunch spot, also owned by Mandy. It’s friendly, warm and delicious. I love the avocado toast and the hearty farro bowl. The fluffy cast iron skillet pancake is heavenly if you’re looking for something sweet. And of course they have excellent coffee!

I love going here for coffee meetings, Zoom calls, or just for their amazing Crunchy Garden Salad and Mocha Latte!

I’ve been anxiously awaiting the opening of Dot’s since I heard it would be coming to the space formerly occupied by La Bergamote. I tried it the first chance I got and immediately fell in love. The huge windows facing 52nd Street fill the room with natural light. The space is warm, cozy and inviting, as are the staff. It’s an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood, and as you’d expect from the team behind Ardesia, the food is delicious! My office is on the next block, and I look forward to many afternoons decompressing at Dot’s with a latte, grain bowl or bowl of soup.
