Fountain House Gallery

I love the art that’s there and I love that Fountain House gives the artists a place where their art can be launched into the world.

Amazing artists and a supportive community doing incredible things for people living with mental illnesses. I used to teach yoga and meditation in the space when I was a newer teacher. I am still involved in the community, attending openings and purchasing art as gifts for friends from them.

You can find some really great art here by members of Fountain House (a national mental health non-profit) at a variety of price points. I was able to afford a painting that I absolutely love, but I also enjoy just stopping in to chat with some of the artists manning the front desk. Really great, very welcoming folks.

I enjoy the exhibits there. They always inspire me. One time there was one on how mental health affected you. The authors were anonymous and you could be part of the exhibit. It was really inspirational and an idea I wanted to bring back to my own clinic uptown.
