The nonprofit venue combines world-class dining with legendary entertainment, creating magical evenings where Patti LuPone might grace the stage just 24 feet away. From emerging artists to Broadway stars, every show celebrates the music and community that define theater.

54 Below is not only my workplace of the past decade-plus, it is an epicenter of the theatre community. We call ourselves “Broadway’s living room” and I’m so proud of that vibe we’ve established. On any given night, audiences can experience an intimate performance with a favorite Broadway legend, a new writer, the cast of a currently running show, a reunion concert…

When I was a performer, I had the opportunity to perform quite a few times at 54 Below. I love attending friend’s shows now! Also, when I first started getting my feet wet as a director, I created and staged many theatrical concerts here. But most importantly, 54 Below is where I got married!

54 Below is one of my favorite places. It’s such a sure thing! If I have friends or family visiting from out of town, I take them there for dinner and a cabaret show. The food is reliably delicious, and the music leaves me feeling restored and happier about the world.
