MCC Theater

I saw my favorite show of last season here (shout out to Only Gold, I am your biggest fan), and a few that made my top 10 for sure. MCC continuously produces shows that excite me as both an audience member and a performer, which I think is sometimes hard to do. They also have wonderful front of house staff and the theater itself is lovely.

This is one of my favorite Off-Broadway theater companies, and it’s in the building next door to me! Their work is fun, daring, creative and sometimes goofy. They support young American artists with interesting things to say.

So I’m biased towards my own theater company. For decades now, we’ve been a home for storytelling that provokes conversations that haven’t happened, and otherwise, never would. We’re also a training ground for young artists. Speaking of, come and see our current production of Bees & Honey by Guadalís Del Carmen.

We were blown away by Wolf Play there — and we love supporting new work!!
